Period Poverty
Using the four different levels of income, this brochure aims to educate the viewer on a topic that may not commonly cross one’s mind: period poverty. It is based on the ideas from the book Factfullness by Hans Rosling, as well as data from the website “Dollar Street”, a project created by Anna Rönnlund at Gapminder.
What is period poverty?
“Period poverty is the lack of access to sanitary products, menstrual hygiene education, toilets, hand washing facilities, and, or, waste management.”
